Attorney Mark Geragos is embroiled in controversy again, facing accusations of fraud and conspiracy linked to a shell company in an ongoing legal dispute with jewelry designer Pamela Love.

In a significant legal development, attorney Mark Geragos has been sued for $7 million by jewelry designer Pamela Love, alleging fraud and conspiracy involving the company Alex and Ani. The lawsuit claims Geragos was complicit in a scheme to defraud creditors through deceptive foreclosure actions.

The lawsuit asserts that the purported foreclosure only existed on paper, while the operations continued unimpeded, claiming that employees were laid off and rehired within the same day. This troubling pattern continues a legacy of alleged wrongdoing associated with Geragos, whose past includes being implicated in high-profile cases such as a Nike extortion scandal in 2019 alongside Michael Avenatti.

Adding to his legal troubles, Geragos and his law partner faced a lawsuit in 2021 for violating ethical rules in Arizona, with federal rulings suggesting he disclose his past ethical violations when dealing with the legal system there. Further complicating matters, investigations by the State Bar of California in 2022 raised questions about Geragos’ alleged misappropriation of funds from Armenian genocide victims.

Around this time, his daughter Teny Geragos has also come under scrutiny, particularly as there are rumors surrounding the resignation of fellow attorney Anthony Ricco from Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs' legal team.
