A model from Los Angeles has filed a civil lawsuit against Andrew Tate, the contentious online influencer known for his controversial and misogynistic views. In the complaint lodged in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Brianna Stern accuses Tate of subjecting her to physical abuse, including choking and beating, as well as sexual assault during their relationship that began in July. The allegations follow a series of legal troubles for Tate, who has also been scrutinized by authorities in both Britain and Romania for potential human trafficking, money laundering, and sex-related crimes. Stern's lawsuit marks the latest in a string of accusations against the influencer, who recently experienced a two-year period of intermittent house arrest in Romania amid ongoing investigations but was allowed to depart the country in February.Through legal representatives, Tate has firmly denied Stern’s claims, characterizing them as a “blatant cash grab.” His U.S. legal team contends that Stern's motivations are less about justice and more about seeking financial compensation and publicity at the expense of Tate’s reputation.Within the extensive 30-page lawsuit, Stern describes a relationship marked by threats of violence and psychological manipulation. Stern's accusations shed light on the darker aspects of interpersonal dynamics often obscured in the glitzy world of social media influencers.
