The theft involved hard drives containing unreleased songs, tour plans, and set lists, among other items, taken from a rental vehicle used by Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer, Diandre Blue. According to the police report, the duo had parked their rented Black Jeep Wagoneer and entered a nearby food hall, only to return and find the rear window shattered and their belongings missing.
Choreographer Grant and dancer Blue informed the police that the stolen items included "five jump drives containing watermarked music," unreleased tracks, and crucial footage plans for previous and upcoming shows. Other valuable items such as a laptop, designer clothing, and Apple AirPods were also reported stolen. Local law enforcement said that an arrest warrant has been issued, although the suspect’s identity has not been disclosed.
The police utilized tracking technology linked to the laptop and headphones to trace the stolen items, along with gathering fingerprint evidence from the vehicle. However, it remains unclear if the stolen materials, particularly the unreleased music, have been recovered.
