Two people have been killed in what police say was a 'rolling terror attack' in northern Israel.
Police reported that the attacker ran over a pedestrian in the eastern city of Beit Shean, then drove on before stabbing a woman near Ein Harod, located about 8 miles (12.5km) to the west.
The assailant was shot and wounded by a civilian bystander, according to statements released by authorities, revealing that the suspect was a Palestinian Authority resident from the occupied West Bank.
Israel's Magen David Adom emergency service confirmed that the victim killed in Beit Shean was a 68-year-old man, while the woman stabbed in Ein Harod was just 18 years old.
