DollyParton Festival: A Celebration of Her Legacy in Nashville and London

The Dolly Parton estate announced DollyFest, a two‑day, two‑city celebration set for 2027 that will span consecutive weekends in Nashville and London. The dates will be announced later, but the event will bring audiences together to honor the late singer’s life and music.

Dolly originally envisioned an opening event that would bring her on stage with colleagues, though the January 2026 release was shelved due to health concerns. The estate says Dolly’s own wishes were that the festival be a vibrant party rather than a conventional memorial.

The festival will replace a traditional public memorial that was planned for the day after Dolly’s death on 25 August. The singer was laid to rest in Nashville’s Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum beside her late husband, Carl Dean.

Organiser Danny Nozell, founder of CTK Enterprises, stated that no one is discouraged from honoring Dolly in other ways. He added that the festival is "authentic to her vision and invites artists and fans worldwide to participate, while giving space for grief and reflection."

Parton, a country music icon from the Smoky Mountains, had a career spanning nearly seven decades, earning 10 Grammy Awards, selling more than 100 million records and writing thousands of songs.

She once said, "Songwriting is my therapy," underscoring the deep personal and communal power of her work.

After her passing, tributes poured in from fans, musicians and politicians across social media, reflecting the global reach of her influence.
