In a staggering series of attacks overnight, Ukraine faced a devastating wave of strikes from Russia, leading to the death of at least nine individuals, as reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to Zelensky, the assaults involved more than 470 drones and a significant number of missiles. A particular focus of the attack was on Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, where three districts were severely impacted, resulting in injuries to over 30 people, including children.
The destructive aftermath saw buildings and vehicles engulfed in flames, underscoring the considerable human and material toll on the affected areas.
