The car, which helped Schumacher secure his fourth world title, was auctioned by RM Sotheby's just before this year’s Monaco Grand Prix. This remarkable sale marks the highest price ever paid for a Schumacher-driven car at auction, making it the fourth most expensive Formula One car sold to date. The previous record was held by a Mercedes raced by Stirling Moss and Juan Manuel Fangio, valued at £42.75 million earlier this year. Prior to this, Schumacher's F2003 was sold for £9.75 million in 2002, which highlights the dramatic increase in value of these historic racing vehicles.

Ferrari enthusiasts are hopeful for a resurgence in success with driver Charles Leclerc, who will start the upcoming race from second on the grid, closely trailing McLaren's Lando Norris.
