The recent death of French streamer Raphaël Graven, widely known as Jean Pormanove, has garnered significant attention after an autopsy revealed that his demise was not due to trauma. Graven was discovered deceased in his residence located in Contes, north of Nice, the morning after a live-streaming session on the platform Kick.

Upon investigation, French Minister Clara Chappaz described the situation as an "absolute horror" and has initiated a judicial inquiry into the details surrounding his death. Prosecutor Damien Martinelli confirmed that medical examiners determined the cause of Graven's death was not traumatic and found no signs of external or internal injuries besides a few bruises and pre-existing healed lesions.

Further analyses indicated that medical and/or toxicological issues were likely the underlying causes, with indications that Graven might have had heart problems and a history of thyroid treatment. A spokesperson from Kick noted that the platform is currently conducting a thorough review related to the streamer’s passing.

Local reports suggest that the 46-year-old may have experienced patterns of violence and sleep deprivation during his live streams, ultimately passing away in his sleep while still broadcasting. As part of the ongoing investigation, police have interviewed several witnesses who were present during the incident, and various pieces of equipment and footage have been seized to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the events leading to his death.
