Local defence officials reported that two private homes had been destroyed and that eight people were wounded, including an 84‑year‑old woman taken to hospital and children rescued from rubble.
The helicopter‑like pressure from Russia continues to strike Ukraine’s cities. In the early hours, more than 70 missiles and over 280 drones were launched across the country, impacting areas like Kyiv, Lviv and Poltava. The conflict has increased the urgency for Ukraine to secure anti‑ballistic missile (Patriot) systems that can intercept such threats.
