As Ukraine and Russia celebrate Orthodox Easter, both nations exchange accusations of numerous ceasefire violations, highlighting the fragility of the peace. The ceasefire, initially proposed to honor Easter, encountered immediate challenges, raising questions about the prospect of lasting peace amidst ongoing warfare.

Following the announcement of an Easter ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, both countries have reported extensive violations of the truce. The Ukrainian military claims over 2,000 violations by Russian forces, while Russia counters with allegations of Ukrainian aggression.
