In brief
Virginia Giuffre, known for her pivotal role in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, is currently receiving medical care after a serious car accident in Australia. Her family has shared her heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming support she has received during this challenging time.
In a recent statement, Virginia Giuffre’s family provided updates on her condition following a traumatic incident that occurred on March 24 in Western Australia. Giuffre, who was a passenger in a car that collided with a school bus, is now in serious condition but remains grateful for the supportive messages from her community. After the accident, the bus driver left the scene to attend to the children on his bus, claiming he would report the incident to the authorities later. Giuffre was initially sent home but her health deteriorated, leading to hospitalization. Her family described her as “banged up and bruised” but noted that her spirit remains resilient. In an Instagram post, Giuffre reflected on her tumultuous start to the year, which marks another challenging chapter in her life. Recently, she had relocated to North Perth, Australia, living with her husband Robert and their children, though reports indicate that they have since separated after 22 years of marriage. Giuffre became internationally known for her allegations against Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, claiming they trafficked her to high-profile individuals when she was just 17. Although Prince Andrew denied the accusations, he reached an out-of-court settlement with her in 2022, officially regretting his connections to Epstein but making no admissions of guilt.
