Albanese reiterated the right of Jewish Australians to live without fear, asserting, 'Every Jewish Australian has the right to feel safe, valued, and respected for their contributions to our nation.' He directly connected the recent acts of violence to the ideology of terrorism, urging Australians to respond not with division, but with solidarity.

Speaking about antisemitism, Albanese expressed a commitment to adopting the recommendations from a previous report presented by the antisemitism envoy Jillian Segal, indicating that Australia stands at a crucial juncture in not only addressing domestic issues but also contributing to the global fight against antisemitism.

Despite facing criticism that his government has not done enough in the wake of previous antisemitic incidents, Albanese accepted responsibility, reaffirming his dedication to leading a united and supportive Australia during this turbulent period.
