At least five people were killed and ten more injured when a Ukrainian drone struck a warehouse near Moscow overnight, the Moscow region governor stated.
The official did not specify the facility’s exact purpose, but Ukrainian reports have repeatedly targeted Wildberries depots—"Russian Amazon"—claiming they supply the military.
Moscow’s governor Andrei Vorobyov announced the attack on an industrial site in Novoselki, Chekhov, located 69 kilometres south of the Kremlin, and a subsequent fire at the warehouse.
Russia’s defence ministry said it intercepted and destroyed 320 drones during the same period, while also launching strikes that killed four people elsewhere in Ukraine.
These raids highlight how civilian infrastructure and economic lifelines, including those vital to indigenous communities across Russia, are increasingly becoming collateral in a war that stretches far beyond the front lines.
