Recent insights from an AP-NORC poll highlight a noticeable decline in approval ratings for Donald Trump's presidency, particularly among key demographics such as Hispanic adults and younger voters. A stark 75% of Hispanic adults now disapprove of his presidency, down from 40% approval in earlier months of his term.
Among younger voters, Trump's overall approval has fallen from 39% to 28% in just over a year.
The decline in support can be attributed to various factors, including dissatisfaction with Trump's economic policies and restrictive immigration stance. Only 18% of younger Hispanic voters approve of his immigration handling.
Despite substantial support from his base of Republican voters, there are signs of rising frustration, especially among younger GOP members, where only about half approve of his approach to pressing issues like economic stability and cost of living.
While Trump's MAGA supporters remain steadfast, the growing discontent among critical voter segments raises important questions about the sustainability of his political capital moving forward.
