U.S. President Donald Trump disclosed earnings that exceed $1 billion in cryptocurrency during his first year back in office, according to his 2025 mandatory financial report.
The 927‑page filing lists $635m in royalties from a Trump meme coin launched just days before he entered the White House, as well as over $500m from World Liberty Financial, a crypto‑focused firm founded by his sons and associates.
These figures surpass the $600m Trump reported in 2024 and far outpace traditional real‑estate income, which brought in $77m from Mar‑a‑Lago and $122m from his Doral golf club.
Additional earnings include $4.7m from Trump‑branded watches, royalty streams from branded literature and apparel, and $10.7m from a documentary license linked to First Lady Melania Trump.
White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly dismissed the claims as “recycling the same, tired, false narrative” and reiterated that the president has placed his business interests in a trust managed by his sons, arguing that no conflict of interest exists.
