A woman who reportedly inserted razor blades into loaves of bread at two Walmart stores in Biloxi, Mississippi, has been arrested and charged with attempted mayhem. The accused, Camille Benson, 33, hails from Texas and her bond is currently set at $100,000.

According to Lt. Candace Young, a public information officer for the Biloxi Police Department, customers first reported the alarming discovery at a Walmart Supercenter on December 5, followed by a similar report at a Walmart Neighborhood Market on December 8.

Upon receiving a complaint from another customer at the Walmart Supercenter, employees conducted an inspection and found multiple loaves that had been tampered with. The police department was alerted the following day.

In light of the incidents, the Biloxi Police Department has urged anyone who purchased bread from these locations to examine their products closely and report any unusual findings.

Walmart also released a statement reassuring its customers: “The health and safety of our customers is always a top priority. We have removed and thoroughly inspected all potentially affected products at impacted stores in Biloxi. We appreciate law enforcement for their swift action and will continue cooperating with them as they investigate.”

The police department does not believe any other stores have been affected by this incident. Customers who purchase tampered products are advised to throw them away and return to Walmart for a full refund.
