HAMMONTON, N.J. — In a tragic aviation accident, two helicopters collided midair over Hammonton Municipal Airport, claiming the life of one pilot and leaving another critically injured. The incident occurred at approximately 11:25 a.m. on Sunday, according to Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel, who reported that first responders quickly extinguished flames from one of the aircraft.
