Chris Brown, the Grammy-winning US musician known for hits like "Freaky Friday" and "Turn Up the Music," has been granted bail by a court in London after facing charges related to an alleged "unprovoked attack" in a nightclub earlier this year. The singer was charged with grievous bodily harm after reportedly assaulting a music producer with a tequila bottle at the Tape nightclub in London's Mayfair.

During a hearing at Southwark Crown Court, where Brown was not present, the judge ordered him to pay a substantial £5 million security fee to ensure his return to court. The "security fee" serves as a financial guarantee with the potential for forfeiture if bail conditions are breached. This bail grant comes after Brown was initially denied release and held in custody following his arrest in Salford.

The artist welcomed the news on social media, sharing his excitement by posting, "From the cage to the stage!" He is now set to begin his world tour next month, with opening shows scheduled in Amsterdam on June 8 and several UK dates in cities like Manchester, London, Cardiff, Birmingham, and Glasgow throughout June and July.

However, his release comes with stringent bail conditions. Brown must pay £4 million immediately and the remaining £1 million within a week. He must also live at a court-approved address, not communicate with the alleged victim, avoid the Tape nightclub, and surrender his passport unless traveling for tour performances. He is due back in court on June 20, alongside his co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu, who is also facing charges related to the incident.
